As a Master System Operator (MSO) North American Cable Equipment, Inc. (NACE) is establishing a network of System Operators responsible for sale, distribution, and installation of DIRECTV systems and program into the Commercial & SMATV. In addition to ensuring all Commercial & SMATV properties are qualified, operated, and maintained according to DIRECTV high standards, as an MSO NACE provides its System Operators with business and technical assistance, including:
 
  • Engineering support from system design to configuration to activation
• Access to competitively priced equipment
• Property qualification
• Aggressive financial incentives
• Special programming promotions
• All the necessary rate cards, agreements, forms and collateral material
• Marketing literature
   
  The System Operator
 
The System Operator is the property’s service provider. In that role the System Operator markets and sells DIRECTV programming to the property, and designs, installs and maintains the property’s distribution network. In return, the System Operator receives a combination of pre-paid commissions and monthly residual commissions from NACE as well as any other equipment and commercially reasonable service fees it may charge the property and/or its residents/guests.
